Field Guides is a series of place-based audio pieces designed to help you think differently about your body and your environment
Designed by artist team Hannah Simmons + Leah Crosby, each audio track offers a full sensory experience that guides the listener through a series of prompts and asks them to reconsider the limitations of body, place, and memory. They have created audio guides for four unique locations, including a 4-part series in Freeway Park, taking their listeners on unusual tours through everyday spaces. The project has been supported by the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, the Freeway Park Association, the Corvallis Arts Center, and Jack Straw Cultural Center.
